1. Who processes your data

No Data Protection Officer has been appointed, as designation is not mandatory under Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

This site uses no contact forms, does not profile visitors, and installs no analytics or advertising tracking tools.

3. Why I process it, and on what legal basis

• Newsletter — to send you the essays you asked for. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You withdraw it via the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to me.
• Replying to your emails — to handle correspondence and any professional relationship. Legal basis: legitimate interest in replying to those who contact me and, if an engagement follows, performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Technical logs — security, diagnostics and site operation. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

I make no automated decisions and carry out no profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

4. How long I keep it

• Newsletter email addresses: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within thirty days.
• Correspondence: up to twenty-four months from the last exchange; if a professional relationship begins, for the periods required by tax and civil law.
• Server logs: according to the hosting provider’s retention periods, in any case no longer than twelve months.

5. Who else sees it

Nobody for their own purposes. Data is processed only by suppliers acting as processors, or as independent controllers within the limits described:

Loading typefaces from Google Fonts means your IP address is communicated to Google, which may process it in the United States on the basis of standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. No cookies are set by Google. If you prefer to avoid this communication entirely, you can block requests to fonts.googleapis.com in your browser: the site remains perfectly readable with system fonts.

6. Cookies

This site installs no profiling, marketing or analytics cookies, neither first- nor third-party. That is why there is no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Should I introduce measurement tools in future, this page will be updated and prior consent will be requested, as required by Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian DPA’s cookie guidelines.

7. Your rights

You may ask me at any time to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, receive it in machine-readable form, or object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). One email is enough: maurizio@mauriziograssi.com. I reply within one month.

If you believe the processing infringes the Regulation, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or bring proceedings before the courts.

8. Changes

If something changes — a supplier, a purpose, a tool — I update this page and the date at the top. Previous versions remain available on request.
